Traveland’s 40g A-Nap Air Reaches 1,000 Kickstarter Backers in 10 Days

The palm-sized model uses 360° wraparound support and four-vent airflow, following an original A-Nap campaign backed by 2,300+ supporters.

NEW YORK, NY, UNITED STATES, August 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Traveland announced that A-Nap Air, its latest inflatable travel pillow, has surpassed 1,000 Kickstarter backers within 10 days of launch.

The milestone follows the original A-Nap campaign, which received support from more than 2,300 Kickstarter backers. A-Nap Air expands the product line with a lighter and more compact format while retaining the wraparound support concept introduced with the original model.

A-Nap Air weighs approximately 40g and packs down to approximately 5 × 2.5 × 9cm when deflated. The compact format is designed to reduce the amount of luggage space typically required by traditional travel pillows.

The pillow uses a 360-degree wraparound structure that surrounds the front, sides and back of the neck. Two inflatable front chambers are positioned beneath the chin and jaw area, while the side and rear sections provide additional contact around the neck when resting in an upright position.

Compared with the original A-Nap, the Air model introduces a new ventilation structure consisting of four large airflow openings. The openings are arranged around the pillow to increase airflow during extended use.

A wide hook-and-loop closure is also used for fit adjustment, replacing the front elastic adjustment lace found on the original model. The closure allows the circumference of the pillow to be adjusted around different neck sizes.

A removable elastic strap at the rear can be attached to compatible seat backs to provide additional stability. The pillow can also be used independently without attaching the strap.

The inflatable structure is made from a 125gsm soft-touch polyamide and elastane stretch fabric laminated with a 0.08mm TPU layer. The laminated construction forms the airtight chamber while allowing the pillow to remain lightweight, flexible and foldable.

“A-Nap Air was developed as another option within the A-Nap line, with greater emphasis on lower weight, smaller packed dimensions and increased airflow,” said Kelly, project lead at Traveland. “Reaching more than 1,000 backers within the first 10 days provides an encouraging indication of interest in this more compact format.”

A-Nap Air is available in three sizes. The planned neck circumference ranges are approximately 25–33cm for Kid Size, 34–40cm for Adult Size and 40–48cm for XL Size.

The campaign launched with Black as the initial colour. Blue has since been unlocked as a campaign stretch-goal colour, with additional colour options tied to further campaign milestones.

A-Nap Air is designed for use during flights, train journeys, bus travel, road trips and other seated travel situations. Inflation is completed by mouth without a separate pump, and the pillow can be deflated and stored in its included storage bag after use.
