BTIG, a U.S. Bancorp company, announced today that Brayden Mathews has joined the firm as Head of Franchise Sales, where he will also lead BTIG’s Specialty Sales and Corporate Access teams.

Mr. Mathews has more than two decades of experience across institutional equity sales, equity capital markets, and technology-focused investing and research. He spent 20 years at J.P. Morgan, most recently as the public side Head of ECM Distribution, and previously led the New York Equity Franchise Sales effort. Mr. Mathews also served as an Analyst at Agnos Partners and an Associate Analyst at Fred Alger Management. Earlier in his career, he was an Equity Research Associate at UBS Investment Research, and an Equity Research Associate and Corporate Bond Product Manager at Salomon Smith Barney.

BTIG’s Franchise Sales group connects institutional investors with the firm’s equity research, sector insights, and corporate access across U.S. and global markets. Working closely with research, trading, and investment banking, the team helps clients translate thematic and company-specific analysis into actionable conversations and investment ideas.
