A fire on Sunday afternoon has led to the complete destruction of the Happy Valley Public Works Operations Building. The facility is located at 13910 Southeast Ridgecrest Road, in close proximity to Happy Valley Park.
The building housed essential equipment utilized for the maintenance of Happy Valley Park. As a consequence of the fire and the resulting heavy smoke, the east side of Happy Valley Park will be closed to the public until further notice.
